Privacy Policy | LaundromatPrices

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

You can browse the public directory without submitting a form. If you choose to contact us or contribute information, we receive the information you enter into the relevant form.

Depending on the form, this may include:

Business or laundromat names.
City, state, and metro information.
Official business website addresses.
Links to published pricing pages.
Information about reported price changes or listing corrections.
Messages and additional details you choose to provide.
Your email address, if requested or voluntarily supplied.

Only provide information relevant to your submission. Do not include passwords, payment card information, or other sensitive personal information in form messages.

Information processed during website visits

When you access the website, the hosting infrastructure processes requests to deliver pages and other website resources.

Technical information may be processed by the hosting and infrastructure providers as part of normal website delivery, operation, and security.

2. How submissions are handled

Forms and Cloudflare processing

Website forms send submissions as JSON to our forms-processing Cloudflare Worker:

Submission endpoint

https://directory-forms.starbase03.workers.dev/submit

The forms-processing service receives the site identifier, form type, page location, submitted fields, and a honeypot field used for spam protection.

Types of submissions

Shop suggestions: information about laundromats and links to their official published pricing pages.
Price reports: information about potentially changed prices or outdated price records.
Corrections: information identifying an inaccurate listing or source detail.
Contact messages: messages and contact details voluntarily provided through the contact form.

Pending review

Submissions are received as pending and reviewed before anything is published. Sending a form does not automatically create a listing, change a price, or publish the submitted information.

Information may be used to verify a business's published prices, investigate a correction, or respond to a message.

3. How information is used

Why we use submitted information

Information submitted through the website may be used for the following purposes:

Reviewing suggested laundromats.
Verifying prices against official business websites.
Investigating reported price changes.
Correcting inaccurate directory information.
Responding to questions and contact requests.
Protecting forms against spam and misuse.

We do not use an unverified submission as proof of a business's published price.

We do not automatically publish email addresses or private messages as part of a directory listing.

4. Service providers

Hosting and infrastructure

LaundromatPrices uses Cloudflare Pages for website hosting and Cloudflare Workers for form submission processing.

These services process information as necessary to deliver website pages, receive form submissions, and operate the website.

Information processed by these providers is subject to their applicable service terms and privacy policies.

External business websites

Directory listings may link to the official websites of laundromats. When you follow an external link, your visit is governed by that website's own privacy practices.

LaundromatPrices does not control the privacy policies or information handling practices of those businesses.

5. Advertising and affiliate links

Advertising and commercial relationships

Advertising space is reserved in the website design. No advertising code or advertising network scripts are included in this launch build.

The website may introduce advertising in the future. If advertising is added, third-party advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies and the applicable privacy requirements.

The laundry cost guide also contains a reserved area for a potential affiliate relationship. No affiliate program has been assigned to that area, and no tracked affiliate links are included at launch.

Any future affiliate relationships will be identified through the Affiliate Disclosure.

6. Cookies and tracking

Website technologies

This launch version is a static website built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It does not include analytics scripts, advertising scripts, or third-party tracking scripts.

The website does not require an account or user registration to browse its public directory.

Cloudflare infrastructure may process technical information or use technologies necessary for service delivery and security. Those activities are subject to the applicable provider policies.

If third-party advertising or analytics services are introduced later, this policy will be updated to describe the relevant practices.

7. Data retention

How long information is kept

Form submissions are held as pending while they await review. Information may be retained as necessary to review a submission, verify a price, address a correction, respond to a message, or maintain the accuracy of the directory.

We do not publish a fixed retention period for form submissions in this policy. Retention depends on the purpose of the submission and the applicable service and operational requirements.

8. Your choices

Questions about submitted information

If you have submitted information and want to ask about its handling, contact us with enough detail to identify the relevant submission.

You may also ask us to review a correction or an outdated business record using the appropriate form.

We will review requests in accordance with applicable requirements and the information available to us.
