Compare washer capacities
Look at the capacity published for each washer rather than comparing machine charges without considering how much laundry each machine holds.
Self-service laundry pricing
Understand how self-service laundromats price their machines. Washer charges depend on the stated machine capacity, while dryer charges may cover a specified number of minutes.
We compare prices published by the laundromats themselves. No estimated machine charges or invented local pricing figures are included.

Laundromats may offer several washer capacities. The price of a machine should be compared alongside the capacity stated by the business.
A washer's advertised price alone does not tell you how much laundry it can handle. Comparing the stated capacity alongside the published charge gives a more useful picture of the available machines.
Machine capacities and prices are recorded only when the laundromat publishes them.

Dryer charges need to be compared using the time included in the published price. A charge for one interval is not directly equivalent to a charge for a different interval.
Some laundromats publish dryer charges as a price for a stated number of minutes. Additional time may require another payment.
We preserve the billing interval exactly as the business publishes it. We do not convert unpublished charges into estimated rates.

A useful comparison considers more than the amount displayed on a machine.
Look at the capacity published for each washer rather than comparing machine charges without considering how much laundry each machine holds.
Check the number of minutes included in the published dryer charge. Keep different time intervals separate when comparing machines.
Washing and drying are separate parts of self-service laundry. Consider both published charges when evaluating the cost of a visit.
Other laundry services
Wash-and-fold is a different service from self-service machines. It is commonly advertised by the pound, making the published per-pound price the main comparison unit.
Browse collected per-pound rates, published minimum orders, and pickup or delivery charges. Each price is linked to the shop's own source.
Our sourcing standard
Only prices published on a business's own website qualify for inclusion in this directory.
We use the laundromat's own published pricing information rather than third-party estimates or customer-reported amounts.
Machine capacities, charges, and dryer time intervals are recorded as published. Missing details are not filled in by assumption.
Every displayed price must have an identifiable source and checked date. Records missing either requirement are not displayed.
